Last month Client Pharma attended Arab Health 2016. Taking place in the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai, the healthcare exhibition is both the region’s largest and one of the biggest in the world. In its 41st edition, Arab Health is a unique platform for companies to unveil their latest innovations within the healthcare industry.
It has been reported that healthcare spending will increase in 2016 as a result of extending access to healthcare worldwide, an increasing and aging population and advancements in technology.
With more pressure for the healthcare industry to adapt and innovate to keep up with the social changes that continue to take place, events like Arab Health are a gateway for professionals to see all the latest medical products and services in the world of healthcare.
This year more than 4000 exhibitors were at the event and in excess of 130,000 visitors attended from over 150 countries. Healthcare companies displayed a range of hospital and medical equipment, medical devices and advanced technology throughout 35 pavilions. A number of big healthcare brands including Dell, Siemens and GE Healthcare sponsored the event.
It is a Client-Pharma passion to source and supply pharmaceutical products to the Middle East. We took the opportunity to meet with clients both old and new. Events like these are one of the few times when the industry can come together and exchange ideas, continue to develop relationships and deliver exceptional service to meet the patient demand.
With an increasing number of stands this year, visitors like Client Pharma were given the chance to take part in workshops such as ‘How to Conduct an Effective Clinical Simulation’ and ‘One Stop Clinic’. The healthcare industry were also able to ask questions to some of the biggest healthcare suppliers and share expertise.
Some of the biggest exhibitions included a 3D Medical Printing Zone. Visitors had an opportunity to learn about the revolutionary impact that 3D printing technology has had on the healthcare industry, giving them an immersive 3D healthcare experience in the form of hands on activities and demonstrations while also showing them the latest 3D technologies entering the MENA market for the first time.
